About Us
Alki Community Council (ACC), is a volunteer-run nonprofit bringing neighbors together to support life in Alki — the West Seattle beach community we’re proud to call home. With more than 10,000 residents and one of Seattle’s most-visited beaches, Alki also holds a special place in our city’s history as the birthplace of Seattle.

We support Alki through:

-
Connection — bringing neighbors together
-
Advocacy — giving residents a voice
-
Safety & Livability — addressing crime, traffic, and community concerns
-
Environment & Stewardship — caring for our shoreline, parks, and public spaces
-
Collaboration — partnering to make things better
Our goal is simple:
A clean, safe, and welcoming Alki where everyone — residents and visitors — can thrive.
Join us to connect with neighbors, share ideas, and volunteer your skills and passion.
Everyone is welcome. Every voice matters.

We believe in the power of community. Together, we can create positive change, support one another, and build a stronger, more vibrant Alki neighborhood.
Our Mission
Our mission is to help make Alki the safest, most welcoming neighborhood it can be—by staying connected, working together as volunteers, and partnering with city leaders to support and strengthen our community.

Our Vision
Our vision is a united and empowered Alki community where every voice is heard and valued. We believe in strong social connections and a shared spirit of care. Together, we create a safe and welcoming place to live, work, play, and thrive. We envision a community that nurtures a thriving small business scene and promotes good stewardship of our beaches, parks, and local wildlife—protecting the beauty of Alki for future generations.
