For decades, our own Statue of Liberty has stood at Alki Beach. It's a beloved landmark, meeting place, and a favorite photo spot.

Recently, large cracks have formed in its base, threatening the structure, and if left unaddressed, this damage will only get worse.This kind of structural repair falls outside the statue's standard maintenance agreement between ACC and Seattle Parks. This means it's up to us, the community, to make sure it's protected for generations to come.
