Working to Restore some Alki Recreational Programs

Remember roller skating at the Alki Community Center? Around 2012, budget cuts greatly reduced community programs and public access at Alki Community Center and Alki Bathhouse. Now, we’re working with Seattle Parks & Recreation to explore bringing some programming back — and both we, and they–

want to hear what matters most to you. Hoops? Crafts? Yoga?

Take this 60-second survey and share your interests.

A Special community-wide THANK YOU

to three longtime neighbors whose decades of volunteer service have helped shape Alki. Their impact can still be seen across our neighborhood today — from the Alki Trail, to emergency preparedness, to Alki Art Festival – that continue to serve us all. Most of all, their stories remind us how much a few dedicated neighbors can truly make a difference.

Come celebrate Thursday. Connect. And enjoy a big cake with us! 🎂
